MovieMavericks.com – A Social Site
Visitors to MovieMavericks.com can now sign up for membership! Members can friend other members, create and join groups, tag other members in status updates and group forum posts, and earn points by using the site to use in entering giveaways for DVDs/Blu-rays/electronics/other great prizes. We will also be hosting movie marathons in our Maverick Movie Marathon group where all of our members are invited to join in on the conversation as we watch some of our favorite flicks. Movie Mavericks Giveaways
We will be running giveaways year round. This will include several running at one time – DVDs, Blu-rays, electronics such as DVD/Blu-ray players and Internet streaming devices, and plenty of other great stuff. Members can vote for what prizes we should give away in our Movie Mavericks group. Members earn points (MPs or Maverick Points) by using the site – commenting on reviews and posts, listening to podcasts, posting to groups, posting status updates – in general talking and connecting with others on the site. These points can be used to get entry tickets to the giveaway. Once entered, members have the option of bettering their chances for winning by sharing and liking the giveaway on other social networks. These options are all explained on the giveaway’s entry page.
