Where to watch Fast Getaway II

A former robber (whose partner was his father) has reformed and is now running an insurance business with his girlfriend. An ex-partner frames him for a burglary. When his father gets out of prison, they go after the ex-partner.
The best aspect of the original Fast Getaway movie is the chemistry between lead actors Corey Haim and Leo Rossi, plus the exciting car chase sequences that you’d expect from a film with the words Fast and Getaway in the title. The story that propels Fast Getaway II makes the critical error of keeping Haim and Rossi apart while relegating returning co-star Cynthia Rothrock to an extended cameo and neglecting to provide the audience with any note-worthy car stunts or action to speak of.
Director Oley Sassone is responsible for some of my favorite b-movies, and he’s a suitable replacement for Spiro Ratzos, who directed the original, but the script fails to give the characters anything interesting to do, and Corey Haim gives an obnoxious performance to make the film even less appealing. Fast Getaway is polished 90’s b-movie cheese, although this time it’s grown old and moldy.
