Where to watch White Fang 2: Myth of the White Wolf

In order to rescue one of the last surviving Alaskan Native tribes, Fang joins in with a friend of his master to stop miners from destroying an ancient sacred land.

White Fang 2: Myth of the White Wolf is the 144th live-action film from Walt Disney Studios, and it feels just as tired. A few months after the much better movie Iron Will, White Fang 2 suffers in comparison. This sequel to The White Fang is an unoffensive and lightweight family film that is likely to bore every member of the household. I suspect the story will be too slow for the youngest viewers, especially during the long time the Huskie is off-screen, and teens will find the love story too saccharine to be taken seriously.

Scott Bairstow toplines the cast list; he resembles the late River Phoenix, but the movie is stolen by the screen vets Alfred Molina, Geoffrey Lewis, and Al Harrington. Disney Studios’ live-action film division oversaw the release of three movies in 1994, all with the Man vs. Nature theme. And of the trio Iron Will, Squanto: A Warrior’s Tale, and White Fang 2: Myth of the White Wolf, the latter is the weakest of the bunch.
