Two cops, one with a gun and one with his fists, risk everything to make the neighborhood crime and drug-free by taking down the most powerful street lord.
While Dennis Farina’s name is top-billed in PM Entertainment’s Street Crimes, the true lead is martial arts sensation Michael Worth. Worth’s natural charisma and dynamic athleticism make him stand out. The story pairs Worth with Farina as mismatched detectives. Worth commands the action and dramatic scenes, proving equally adept at both the action and the acting the role calls for.
Cops take on street thugs in an underground fight club that soon draws the public’s attention. Stephen Smoke’s story offers no real consequences for the illegal combatants, and the idea that such behavior could improve relations is unconvincing. Eventually, Worth faces a physical obstacle in the form of the physically imposing James T. Morris. Meanwhile, Farina, who is constantly eating, has a blind daughter romantically interested in Worth. Quirky touches—Farina dipping his pinky in ketchup, a temperamental cop teaching class, and a car dealership robbery—keep Street Crimes intermittently entertaining.
