  1. An interesting topic is what actors got their start in horror movies. While many horror films did not catapult these stars into fame, it was a start to their film careers. Clint Eastwood got his start in Revenge of the Creature. This was one of many sequels to the Creature From the Black Lagoon. Five years into his career, Steve McQueen starred in the classic horror film, The Blob. Another popular actor, Michael Landon, starred in I Was a Teenage Werewolf in his budding years. While horror may not have set the world on fire for most actors, it certainly provided several with work for which they could practice their craft.
