The continued development of the 23rd James Bond film has been halted because of the uncertainty caused by the sale of parent company MGM. The film’s long time producers confirmed yesterday that instability within the studio and lack of funds have brought further production on the as yet un-titled installment to a stand still. The pic had been slated to start principle photography later this year in order to make a 2012 release date, that would have coincided with the Franchise’s 50th anniversary. Daniel Craig was on board for his 3rd appearance as the suave spy.
