As insane as it seems, not only will Arrested Development the movie be made, but the show will return for 10 episodes. The show’s cult following grew after its 2003-2006 three season run and talks of the movie started almost as soon as its cancellation. After five years Mitchell Hurwitz, the show’s creator, said at the New Yorker Festival that the ten episode television return would focus on a single character of the Bluth family finally leading to the conclusion in the movie. The series would fill the gap from the time of the television shows ending to the movie. Jason Bateman tweeted this: “It’s true. We will do 10 episodes and the movie. Probably shoot them all together next summer for a release in early ’13. VERY excited!” I hope Rob Thomas is paying attention, I still want my Veronica Mars movie as promised.
