  1. Jason, The Adventures of Tintin was fantastic! I enjoyed it so much the first time I saw it, that I went and saw it a second time. To me, it was without a doubt the film that SHOULD have won the Best Animated Feature Oscar. I agree with you that the characters you mention were very much similar to Spielberg and Jackson. I can’t wait for the next film in the series. As a side note, I added the entire animated series to my Netflix instant streaming and my son started watching them yesterday and so far thinks they are pretty good.

Hornswagle is the “leprechaun” from WWE, and whom I’d expect they would use in the role of the leprechaun.

I thought the Dark Shadows trailer was dreadful, but to be fair I just haven’t been able to get into the recent Burton films (Alice in Wonderland and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). It reminded me of the Brady Bunch films that were done and how they brought the characters from the 70s into the 90s; I wasn’t a fan of those either.

What do you guys think of Stallone coming out over the weekend and now saying Expendables II (no longer the number, I guess) being a definite R?

    1. Honestly we thought Dark Shadows was going to be a real screw up. I’m not a huge fan of Burton’s save a few of his flicks (I agree, Alice and Charlie are both crap). Ya the updates to these old classics are sometimes strange, especially when they try to be so tongue-in-cheek, but I’ve never seen the original of this so it doesn’t bother me at all.

I’m fairly certain Expendables 2 is going to be a mess. If it’ll be an entertaining mess or not is the question now.
