That’s My Boy Adam Sandler – Trailer

Finally Adam Sandler is getting back to basics again with That’s My Boy. Originally titled I Hate You Dad, the comedy is about a dead beat heavy partying dad who burns through all his cash and looks up his rich son. Bringing in a tried and true concept of opposites colliding ensuing in hilarity Sandler’s father character crashes into his son’s (Andy Samberg) life at the most inopportune time, he’s about to get hitched. This no doubt leads to some crude jokes that are heavily softened by some extremely sentimental moments (I’m sure Sandler’s character realizes he really loves his son, and vice-versa for Samberg). This is classic simple Sandler and I’m glad to see this easily summed up in a one line synopsis. Check it out below and let us know what you think.

A father moves in with his son right before his wedding and soon begins sparring with his daughter-in-law.

    1. I think me and Jason are in the minority (although it made $150M stateside) on liking Grown Ups, it’s pretty well agreed that Jack and Jill was no good at all. This one seems to go back to his raunchier roots, which I welcome.
