Set in the future, 16-year-old Katniss Everdeen is living with her mother and little sister Prim in what’s left of North America, in one of 12 districts all being run by the Capitol. Despite mastering the skill of hunting with a bow and arrow, Katniss still struggles to keep her family from going hungry.

Each year, the names of all residents between the ages of 12 and 18 are entered into a lottery and two names, one girl and one boy, are chosen at random from each district to compete in the televised Hunger Games. The 24 children must try to kill each other off and the last one standing is rewarded by the Capitol with a feast of food.

When Prim’s name is selected, Katniss steps up to take her place in the deadly competition.
Based on the first novel of Suzanne Collins’ bestselling “The Hunger Games” trilogy.

Giveaway will close the day before the home video release on Friday August 17, 2012 at 11:59PM PST. ONE winner will be drawn at random and notified via e-mail on August 18, 2012. Please include your e-mail address with your entry registration (in the box specified when making the comment) in order to be contacted if you win. E-mail addresses will never be shared or used for any other purpose than to notify the winner. Winners have 4 days from notification to reply with a delivery address. While winners often receive prizes in less time, it can take up to 4-6 weeks for prize delivery based on a number of factors. Movie Mavericks cannot be responsible for lost, stolen or otherwise unreceived prizes. Winner will be listed on this post.

    1. You already posted a comment for an entry on page one. Why are you trying to cheat? that’s not fair to everyone else. you got 10 entries instead of 5 because of what you did.
