  1. I should preface this by saying that when Fear came out, I thought Mark Wahlberg had no talent and little shot at ever being more than what he appeared to be. He was a jacked up goon, playing a jacked up goon. Almost 16 years later, I must say that I was COMPLETELY wrong. Mark Wahlberg has shown to be an extremely talented actor, and deserving the accolades that he now receives. My top 5 is based on my repeated viewing quotient:

    1) The Perfect Storm – I can’t pinpoint what it is, but if it’s on..I just can’t turn it off.

    2) Three Kings – The movie that made me come to realize that Mark had finally transitioned into a legit actor.

    3) Four Brothers – just an all around enjoyable film.

    4) The Italian Job – One of my favorite heist films. I feel cheated that we never got the much deserved sequel!

    5) Invincible – Being from Philadelphia and having met Vince Papale, Mark is very convincing as a professional football player.
