Trends International has posted the two new promotional posters for The Dark Knight Rises which you can view below.
The posters won’t be used in the film’s marketing, but you may see the images on merchandise, etc.
Opening in theaters and IMAX on July 20, the Christopher Nolan-directed action thriller stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Morgan Freeman. Continue Reading…








Variety is reporting that Lionsgate’s Summit Entertainment is eyeing Ryan Reynolds to star in the Highlander reboot.
It’s been six years since Todd Field’s adaptation of Little Children, his follow-up to the multiple Oscar nominee In the Bedroom, and now, nearly three years after Field took on an adaptation of Boston Teran’s The Creed of Violence, Cross Creek Pictures have come on board to produce and finance the filmmaker’s third feature film with Universal Pictures set to distribute.
With the summer movie season heating up, four popular Disney•Pixar movies are returning exclusively to AMC Theatres for the Memorial Day holiday weekend. From May 25 through May 28, Toy Story 3, Ratatouille, Up and WALL•E will be featured at AMC locations around the country. Each film will be accompanied by a classic Pixar short film and an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming movie, Brave.

MTV has released the first 10 minutes of the second season of “Teen Wolf,” which premieres in two parts, with part one kicking off on Sunday, June 3 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT, immediately following the “2012 MTV Movie Awards,” and part two debuting the following night, on Monday, June 4, in its regularly scheduled 10:00 p.m. ET/PT timeslot.
Number 9 Films is announcing from out of the ongoing Cannes Film Festival that they’ve confirmed Oscar-winner Cate Blanchett and Alice in Wonderland star Mia Wasikowska to headline their adaptation of Patricia Highsmith’s 1952 novella “The Price of Salt” into a film called Carol, directed by John Crowley (Intermission, Boy A).

A few years back, I, Robot director Alex Proyas helmed the sci-fi thriller Knowing for Summit Entertainment, and according to Deadline, they plan to reunite for Proyas’ Gods of Egypt, an original story set in ancient Egyptian times that he’ll be co-writing with Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless.
The cast for Walt Disney Pictures’ reimagining of the “Sleeping Beauty” fairy tale, Maleficent, has been coming together over the last few weeks and the new name joining the cast is Juno Temple, who will play Thistlewit, one of three pixies along with veteran British actresses Imelda Staunton and Lesley Manville.
Relativity Media announced today that it has acquired U.S. rights to market and distribute IM Global’s currently-titled Paranoia, directed by Robert Luketic (21) and starring Liam Hemsworth (The Hunger Games), Oscar-nominee Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight), Oscar-nominee Harrison Ford and Lucas Till (X-Men: First Class). Production is targeted to begin this summer and the film will release in theaters on September 27, 2013. IM Global will handle international distribution.
Dimension Films announced today that the sequel Frank Miller’s Sin City: A Dame to Kill For will open nationwide on October 4, 2013. Casting is underway, with original cast members returning to work with directors Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller, from their script co-written by Academy Award winner William Monahan. Academy Award nominee Mickey Rourke and Jessica Alba are already confirmed to return.
